It is estimated that $150,000 is needed in fundraising to cover expenditures not included in the building estimate, such as lighting, plumbing fixtures, furniture, etc. The center’s expansion will feature a warm, welcoming reception area for rescuers bringing in injured animals an Education Center to enhance educational outreach and create a separate washing and disinfecting area, which will reserve the current kitchen for food prep.
Despite its existing tight quarters and limited resources, the organization does not turn away any animal in need and does not charge the public for its services.
